If you are coming to fish with us, you will sign in at the above address. For parking, please use the address of 137 N. Harbor Dr., Redondo Beach. Once in the parking lot, turn left and park anywhere near R10 Social House. Make sure to get your parking ticket validated. We cannot validate if you are parked in any of the parking structures.
No. Open party trips are just that, open to the public. 18 individual spots are available for purchase. A private charter is a group of people who rent the entire boat.

No. We do not offer rental rods or tackle on the boat. Redondo Sportfishing will be able to assist you with rental rods and tackle. For information on costs, please call Redondo Sportfishing 310.372.2111.
Yes! Anyone 16 years of age and older is required to have a valid California fishing while fishing.
Fishing licenses are available for purchase from Redondo Sportfishing as well as most sporting good stores. You can also purchase a license online. If the date you are interested in is not available, give us a call anyway as there are times charters cancel and dates open up.
We suggest arriving to Redondo Sportfishing at least one hour prior to the departure time.
You will need to sign in with Redondo Sportfishing. To get to the Redondo Sportfishing office from the parking lot (directions above), walk toward R10 Social House and follow the boardwalk around approximately 500 feet.
At this time you will sign the manifest and show your fishing license.
DO NOT BOARD THE PESCADOR WITHOUT THE APPROVAL OF A CREW MEMBER...EVEN TO JUST DROP OFF YOUR GEAR!
Space is limited on the boat, so we suggest you bring a backpack or small duffel bag.
First and foremost, make sure you have your ID and California fishing license with you.
List of suggested items to bring on your trip: rubber deck boots, change of clothes, sunglasses, seasick remedies and toiletries, fishing license and identification.
You will need to bring your own bedding - pillow and sleeping bag/blanket.
DO NOT bring an ice chest/cooler. There is not enough space on the boat to store it. Please keep it in your vehicle.
While we cannot tell you ahead of time the exact weather conditions for your trip, the captain monitors the weather regularly. Weather can range from nice and sunny to cold and windy, yet can change quickly. For the safety of passengers and crew, the captain reserves the right to cancel a trip due to unfavorable weather.
Keep in mind fishing is dependent on conditions, bait, tackle and the fish themselves. We will try our best to have you go home with sacks of fish, but it's not guaranteed.
Day trips often fish Catalina Island or Santa Barbara Island. You can have the opportunity to catch: bass, barracuda, halibut, yellowtail and white seabass.
Island trips can give you the opportunity to catch: yellowtail, white seabass, bass, sheephead and rockfish.
Offshore trips can target pelagics - tuna, yellowtail, dorado
All fish caught must fall within the guidelines of the Department of Fish and Wildlife to be kept. All fish not within the guidelines will be released.
Yes, for a nominal fee. The rate is dependent on type and size of fish. On the way in, the crew will filet and bag your fish. Once back to the landing, the crew will meet you near the boat hoist and hand out your fish.
Gratuity is not included in the open party ticket price or charter rate. The crew works hard to make sure you have a memorable experience on the Pescador. Gratuities are customary and greatly appreciated.
